This high-visibility role will own and execute the Product Marketing strategy to drive awareness and adoption for the Spendesk platform(e)You will partner with Product, Commercial and Marketing on a wide range of strategic activities: from gathering market insights to inform the product roadmap to launching products, defining our GTM strategy, positioning, messaging and pricing(e)As a member of the Product Marketing leadership team, you'll also help build and grow our function.
The ideal candidate is a full-stack Product Marketer, a team leader and a strong storyteller who inspires internal and external audiences alike(e)You’ll need a combination of product thinking, data analysis, segmentation, positioning, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive category awareness and market share among finance teams.
This is a critical role at Spendesk that will influence our product, sales and marketing strategy(e)If you’re ready to bring new features to life and to be the voice of the customer, this is the role for you!
You can work either fully remote or in one of our offices in London, Paris, Lyon, Nantes, Berlin, or Hamburg.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end Product Marketing strategy and execution for the Spendesk platform.
  • Develop positioning and messaging, highlighting Spendesk’s unique value for finance teams and use cases
  • Work with Product, Commercial and Marketing teams to align on a common go-to-market strategy.
  • Plan and execute product and feature launches to drive awareness and adoption across different geographies.
  • Inform the product roadmap based on market insights, sales performance, and product usage.
  • Build a stellar team of Product Marketers based on where we need to focus and invest.
  • Own and report on key metrics related to Product adoption.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, preferably in Marketing, Product or Commercial functions, with at least 4 years in B2B Product Marketing.
  • Proven experience driving successful go-to-market strategies and product adoption.
  • People management experience: You will start with one direct report and will be responsible for growing the team.
  • Experience in FinTech and/or payments would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience with pricing & packaging is a plus.

  • A natural storyteller who can tailor narratives and messaging that resonate with varied audiences
  • A master of influence who works well with cross-functional groups and levels of the organisation.
  • Strong project management skills(e)Self-motivated and resourceful in driving projects forward.
  • A curious and data-driven person who uses data and customer insights to solve problems.
  • Fluency in English(e)Fluency in French or another European language is highly advantageous.
