As a WebRTC Engineer you will join a team responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of our Voice Network, which is the core of our business-critical Call Quality Strategy.
To support our fast growing Customer base, our main focus this year is to scale up our Carrier Stack to maintain our good Call Quality and Security while increasing the capacity, geo-redundancy and global footprint.
We are looking for a WebRTC Engineer to help us upgrade our Voice Network.
This position is remote friendly !
Your mission @ Aircall:
- Maintain and improve existing voice network to ensure we reach our Call Quality targets
- Support the existing development teams with your strong WebRTC knowledge.
- Work closely with the Call Quality team to improve voice quality throughput.
- Liaise with the JavaScript team to support continuation across all of Aircall’s client applications.
- Help design and implement WebRTC SDKs for all platforms that are compatible with multiple voice backends.
A little more about you:
- Strong requirements :
- You have strong knowledge of Real-Time Communication protocols (WebRTC)
- At least 2 years experience with WebRTC or comparable media engine
- Has experience developing with Java and Kotlin
- Has experience developing with Objective-C and Swift
- You have basic Network knowledge
- Nice to have :
- Experience with unit testing
- Experience with JIRA and Git
- JavaScript and C++ skills
- Human skills :
- You are a good communicator with your teammates, providers and customersYou are open-minded, autonomous and like sharing your ideas.
