As an early member of the global IT team, we are looking for a player-coach who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and taking on frontline support, while scaling the team and balancing project work and planning(e)You are proactive, creative, and enjoy interacting with other people(e)We expect you always to be looking for ways to improve your work while at the same time being committed to helping the wider team succeed(e)
This role is suited to an operationally-minded individual who has a broad range of technical experience across different IT disciplines, who is excited to scale themselves along with the IT systems, processes, and infrastructure in a rapid growth environment.
We are looking for a 6-month internship or an apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact
- User Lifecycle Management: You’ll be part of the team managing the employee onboarding and offboarding including equipment procurement and de-provisioning (laptop (Mac and Windows), accessories), software access (account creation and removal), Maintenance of equipment
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability(e)
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues(e)
- Repairing or replacing damaged hardware(e)
- Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers(e)
- Installing and upgrading MDM software to ensure security at the user level(e)
- Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware(e)
- Managing technical documentation(e)
- Onsite work in Paris office
Required Skills
- Must be fluent in the English language
- The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact favorably with a wide variety of people
- Highly self-motivated and with reasoning skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Knowledge of Mac OS X is desirable
- Knowledge of office productivity and communication software (Google Workspace, Slack, Office365, Zoom)
- Knowledge of basic networking and connectivity
- Ability to quickly diagnose and fix problems
- Desire to learn new skills
- Be able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
