About the team:
Shift’s Global Marketing team is growing to support the needs of the business(e)We are seeking a Senior Designer to own and contribute on a broad variety of visual design tasks as we grow the Shift brand, develop and deploy new materials, and create a world class content engine. This role will report to the Art Director, and join a growing team of internal and external talent in a creative studio setting(e)This role will be based in France; can be structured as hybrid or full remote..
What you’ll do:
- Being the primary designer for presentation decks in Google Slides and PPT
- Staying up to date on the latest presentation design trends to offer fresh new ideas while working within the Shift brand guidelines
- Building beautiful and user-friendly templates to support Shifters outside of the Design team
- Creating social media post visuals
- Creating infographics and custom icons in Illustrator
- Laying out white papers and other thought leadership content in InDesign
- Designing event environments and materials
- Designing web pages, landing pages and webinar graphics in Photoshop and on HubSpot
- Working with partners to develop materials that respect both brands
- Working with other designers to collaborate and share files throughout a project lifecycle
- Being a strong team player to assist with other design and creative needs as necessary
What you bring:
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating a command of typography, color and layout across multiple media/channels (please include your portfolio with your application)
- Experience working in an agency setting or on a B2B marketing team, preferably in the technology space
- Demonstrated ability to work within established brand guidelines while finding fresh and creative solutions to design problems
- Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create high-level work in a fast-paced environment
- Fanatical attention to detail
- Expert creating presentations (Google Slides and PPT), social graphics and layout documents using Styles
- Experience using project management software (Asana, JIRA, etc.)
- Formal design training/education
Must haves:
- PowerPoint/Google Slides
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Basic illustration skills (i.e., icons)
- Basic HTML/CSS skills, or an interest in developing in this area
