What you’ll do...
- Partnering with stakeholders and engineering leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions and system design.
- Defining and driving software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability etc).
- Determining overall architectural principles, frameworks and standards (see the stack below).
- Documenting and communicating designs, estimates, and implementation plans to stakeholders and engineering leaders.
- Driving research, case studies and POC on leading edge technologies and how they can be leveraged(e)Providing hands-on development where required.
- Providing leadership to engineers, QA and product stakeholders
What you bring...
- You have at least 7 years of experience in software development.
- You have strong coding skills: whatever your language of choice, your projects are beautifully designed and cleanly written.
- Familiarity with ORM and OOP
- You have experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, storage in SQL Redis, elasticsearch and Kafka messaging system
- As there is a cross-functional part in this position, you are able to create a consensus building and communication with all levels in the organization.
- You have already produced high-level product specifications, design documents as well as architectural blueprints to follow.
- You are used to guide and assist development teams throughout the process.
- You have experience with large scale system design
- You have worked in and understand the world of distributed systems very well
- You often come up with new ideas to solve complex problems, and know how to get your teammates behind them
- You can communicate clearly in English
