About the role

Malt is looking for our next Freelance Manager to directly contribute to our success! 

Our next Freelance Manager will join the local sales department base in Lille  and play a key role in our exponential regional growth. Our Freelance Manager will work directly with the local Key Account Managers to help them to propose the best freelancers to their corporate clients and develop the local community of freelancers.

As a Regional Freelance Manager

  • Sourcing on our platform (50%)
  • The main mission is to manage the incoming requests of these large key account customers, present them with the best profiles present on our marketplace (pre-selected thanks to our Malt Plus algorithm) and to manage the follow-up of their recruitment to ensure the best conversion and thus satisfaction for all parties involved. 

    You will use innovative matching tools based on artificial intelligence to address key issues for our clients. 

    Once an expert, your responsibilities will evolve to manage freelance searches for key accounts from A to Z:
  • Receive briefs from the KAM or key accounts and advise/challenge them thanks to your expertise in freelancing and your business acumen
  • Manage the sourcing of profiles on the platform via our Malt Plus algorithm and other internal matching solutions
  • Present a pre-selection of the best profiles to the client
  • Advise and support the freelancer and the client in the recruitment phase
  • Ensure and support the contract signature in collaboration with the KAM

  • Direct acquisition / hunting profiles (10%) 
  • Sometimes we don’t find the skills needed by the clients on the platform that’s why you will hunt the right freelancer on LinkedIn or a specialized job board(e)You will convince the freelancer to create a profile on Malt and accept a new mission through the platform by promoting the benefit of the opportunity and making an efficient presentation of Malt.

  • Farm & develop the local freelance community (40%) 
  • You will be responsible for the local community of freelancers operating in Lille(e)You will onboard the High Potential freelancers newly registered on the platform and make sure they quickly find a new mission on Malt by presenting them the best opportunities of your wallet(e)You will implement indirect strategies to recruit freelancers in high-demand professions by making partnerships, organize targeted events, promote our cooptation program and anything else that help our growth our community 

Preferred experience

  • You have a significant first experience in Recruitment including head hunting(e)Picking up the phone doesn’t scare you!
  • You are organized, rigorous and you know how to manage several projects simultaneously
  • You have good interpersonal skills and a commercial spirit
  • You have a great ability to adapt to work in a fast-growing environmentYou like challenges and finding new ways to work in a continuous improvement process
  • Master’s degree in business or Human Resources
  • You speak French fluently and have a good level of English to exchange with an international team

Our recruitment process

  • Interview with Hélène, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, your expectations and answer your questions (45 minutes)
  • A first interview with team members to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
  • A business case to put into situation and review with Camille, our Head of Freelace Community, and Marie, our Regional Director(45-60 minutes)
  • Final interview with a C-Level to discuss Malt's long term vision
