About the role:
As the Billing Team Lead you will monitor and supervise a group of Billing Specialists in their region by providing them with training to maintain accurate financial records and payment procedures(e)
This role is a great opportunity to join a global team that is dedicated to always improving processes, training our customer-facing teams, and ensuring our customers can succeed with Aircall! You will report to the Billing Director.
Your mission @ Aircall:
- Work closely with customers and account managers to create invoices and check for calculation errors on invoices and other billing statements
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the team and own accounts
- Contribute to the implementation and best practice of internal billing procedures
- Develop and implement a specific timeline to achieve individual and team targets
- Directly support our customers on their billing questions via email, phone, and chat (tools used: JIRA and Intercom)
- Monitor assigned accounts to identify and resolve outstanding debts
- Issue invoices, receipts, and credit notes
A little bit more about you:
- You have around 5 years experience or more working with customers on their billing processes
- Relevant experience working as a team lead, supervising 1-3 employees on the team
- Great familiarity with MS Office/Google Suite (in particular Excel) and ERP software, ideally Netsuite
- Ability to work with numbers and process financial information
- Passion for consistently providing world-class customer experiences and the willingness to learn and help
- Ability to explain technical financial concepts in an easy to understand manner
- Problem solver, critical thinker, and results-driven: you can quickly think on your feet and are comfortable managing several tasks and issues in a fast-paced environment
