The Payment feature team is responsible for providing payment methods to ManoMano’s customers(e)ManoMano manage payment of billion euro annual transaction requiring security (PCI-DSS), fraud detection and money flow control(e)All connected to multiple PSPs to provide the payment method corresponding to the needs of our customers in all
markets.Your challenge as a Staff Backend Engineer will be to help the team to create microservices, ensuring the scalability, robustness (fault tolerance), consistency and performance required by using concepts such as idempotency, circuit breaker, services distributed, reactive architecture, back pressure and more to guarantee a quality payment service for years to come.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
You will join a team, composed of 4 Developers + 1 Lead + 1 Product Manager, in order to create, in collaboration with the product and UX / UI teams, an amazing experience for the merchants and the customers(e)
As a Staff Software Engineer in this team, you will have to :
- Design and develop features with a high quality standard
- Assimilate business context and company expectations to be creative and relevant
- Learn & teach through code reviews
- Improve the quality and testing of technical components
- Deploy your code up to production and be involved in monitoring it
- Coach and help developers to grow and improve, be a skilled leader to them

REQUIREMENTS
- +7 years of experience as a Backend Developer
- High understanding of Micro-service Architecture: DDD, SOLID, Distributed Systems architecture.
- Unit Testing, Acceptance Testing, Integration Testing, Load, Testing, Contract Testing
- Creative / Innovative
- Knowledge in Monitoring, Alerting
- Ability to design new systems and features
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a good sense of humor!
- Software Craftsmanship
- Previous experiences in Payment would be great
- Fluent in english
