YOUR MISSIONS
The Payment feature team is responsible for providing payment methods to ManoMano’s customers.
ManoMano manage payment of billion euro annual transaction requiring security (PCI-DSS), fraud detection and money flow control(e)All connected to multiple PSPs to provide the payment method corresponding to the needs of our customers in all markets.
Your challenges as a Backend Engineer will be to create microservices, ensuring the scalability, robustness, consistency and performance required by using concepts such as idempotency, circuit breaking, reactive programming, back pressure and more to guarantee a quality payment service for years to come.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
You will join a team, composed of 5 Developers + 1 Lead + 1 Product Manager, in order to create, in collaboration with the product and UX / UI teams, an amazing experience for the merchants and the customers.
As a software engineer in this team, you will have to :
Design and develop features with a high quality standard
Assimilate business context and company expectations to be creative and relevant
Learn & teach through code reviews
Improve the quality and testing of technical components
Deploy your code up to production and be involved in monitoring it

REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of experience as a backend engineer
- Mastery of the language Java or Kotlin (SpringBoot) & Rest API
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL
- A first experience with cloud technologies is a plus, AWS preferred
- An experience with Kafka, Docker or Kubernetes would be a plus
- An experience in frontend development especially with ReactJS would be a plus
- Be lazy, automate things in order to helps us be more scalable and efficient
- Proficient in English and fluent in French
- Able to work in a fast changing (and not perfect) environment
- Taste for continuous improvement, with a strong desire to test, experiment and share better solutions
- Team spirit and interpersonal skills, as well as a good sense of humour!
