SCOPE & CHALLENGES
The Digital Identity Team is an integral part of the Platform Engineering department(e)Its mission is to enable ManoMano to sustain and accelerate its business(e)We aim to offer the best digital platform: a resilient, safe, scalable, sustainable & product-oriented(e)We bring our expertise and excellence to help the whole organization deliver its daily challenges and innovate for tomorrow.
The Digital Identity team provides all the tools – platform, process, libraries – for the engineering teams to manage the lifecycle of their users’ digital identity in their applications(e)It includes our authorization server Keycloak – a key element of ManoMano business as it provides a secure way to identify, authenticate and authorize more than 500k unique visitors per month: B2C & B2B customers, sellers and internal stakeholders(e)In addition, to comply with the GDPR regulations.
TEAM and Context
- As a member of the Digital Identity, your mission will aim to have the journey at ManoMano to begin with a secure and delightful digital identity. This includes:
- Provide a secure, scalable and reliable Identity Platform for all users, applications and data.
- Expose an efficient and easy to use process/catalog to enable tech and business teams to onboard and manage the digital identities of their apps.
- Take our business to the next level with evolving identity and access management for our customers, sellers, partners and employees.
- Train and support tech teams with strong expertise on topics regarding identity management.
- Enforce the Identity Security of the MM ecosystem.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- To analyze, design and develop new features with a high level of quality.
- To build and maintain our security infrastructure, in particular our authorization server Keycloak
- Work with Digital Identity software engineers to improve the quality of our applications.
- Provide support for ManoMano engineering teams during their daily work.
- Be involved in the SRE community and take part in the shared projects.
- Learn through the sharing of good practices.
Our stack, deployed in AWS, is composed of
- Keycloak and its remote cache,
- Infinispan Databases: MySQL, PostgreSql
- Systems & Software: Debian, Docker, Kubernetes
- Automation: Ansible, Terraform
MUST HAVE
- Knowledge in operating systems, network, production, automation (Infra as a code)
- Autonomous & good communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Be able to handle complex issues
- Monitoring management skills
- Knowledge of AWS public cloud or other cloud provider
- You have worked on Keycloak or a similar technology – Auth0 or Okta for example
