You will join the Legal Department, headed by Manomano's VP Legal, and work under the supervision of the Senior Lead Legal Operations.
You will deal with issues relating mainly to intellectual property law, digital law (e-commerce, platform regulation), contract law (services, licensing, integration, etc.) and communication and advertising law.
Your missions will include, in particular :
- Review and negotiation of various contracts, particularly in the context of calls for tender (service contracts, SaaS, integration, licenses, partnerships, contracts with media agencies, advertisers, influencers, etc.);
- Support and advice to operational teams (communication, brand, marketing, tech, product, data, B2B, etc....);
- Assistance in managing the company's intellectual property rights portfolio, supported by our attorneys;
- Participation in the protection and defense strategy of the company's intangible assets (domain names, trademarks, copyright, etc.);
- Assistance in implementing standard processes and templates (letters, contracts, best practices, etc.) for operational teams.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the evolution of French and European regulations applicable to our business, particularly in the areas of intellectual property law, platform regulation, advertising law and contract law.
The position may lead you to deal with legal issues related to other areas of law (commercial law, consumer law, data protection law, etc.).
PROFILE AND BACKGROUND
- Are you autonomous, rigorous and a team player ? Do you have previous experience in the digital or e-commerce sector ? Do you like to take on big challenges ? Then we are made to work together !
- In addition :
- You have a Master 2 (ideally in IP/IT and/or contracts), LLM and/or the bar exam;
- You have at least 5 to 7 years' experience (excluding internships) in a company and/or law firm;
- You are fluent in English and ideally in one additional language of the countries in which Manomano operates (Spain, Italy or Germany);
- You are reactive and proactive, agile and resourceful;
- You are rigorous and organized, you know how to prioritize your tasks and carry out your assignments within the given deadlines;
- You are a caring, team player who supports your manager;
- You have good interpersonal skills and know how to adapt to your various contacts, taking into account their professional differences(e)
