For this, ManoMano is growing fast and is looking for a Platform Manager.
This position is integrated to the "Platform & Security department" in charge of :
- Core infrastructure components, backbone and edge
- Core engineering (tech tooling, bundle and sdk development)
- Infrastructure-as-a-code governance
- Integration and delivery pipelines
- Authentication and Digital Identities
- Observability, Chaos Engineering, finOps and performance
- Implementing the DevSecOps culture and SRE skills throughout the Tech organization
- On-demand Platform services for development teams to increase their autonomy
- Cybersecurity
- Tech Gouvernance, Risk & Compliance
- Corporate IT
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attached to the Head of Platform, you will be responsible for :
1(e)Foster a culture of Resilience through Chaos Engineering practices;
2(e)Stepping back from hero culture during Incidents;
3(e)Encouraging services ownership through Observability;
4(e)Build a Performance culture;
5(e)Have visibility on cloud services consumption per department/uses through Finops.
6(e)Reduce the risk of production downtime with a full Disaster Recovery.
It is expected that you act as a mentor to help your teams learn, progress at their best and deliver high quality products and services(e)You are a pillar of the ManoMano Tech & Engineering culture and expertise.
Keys responsibilities include, although are not limited to :
- Managing and Ensuring your teams are high-performing and consistently and iteratively delivering high-impact, high quality work;
- Continuously assessing your team’s approach and process maturity (with suitable techniques and metrics) to ensure a successful and sustainable delivery;
- Ensuring your engineers and managers have the relevant skills (via training, coaching etc.) to deliver tech & business priorities;
- Helping attract and recruit the best engineering talents;- Being a good speaker to develop the internal and external visibility of our Tech Platform expertise;
- In charge of infrastructure health and Ensuring, with your teams, the quality of IT Operations.
Your team is the “Control Tower” of the platform(e)
The perimeter is :
- Systems monitoring with logs, traces, profiles, checks.
- SLOs, an anchor for reliability & decision making.
- Disaster Recovery plan
- Systems compliance.
- Reducing waste or unused resources on Clouds.
- Aligning Finance ⇔ Tech/Product teams.- Allocation of cloud Costs and Budgets.
- Incidents management processus
- Reliability, robustness, and resilience with Chaos practices.
- Performance scalability & improvements by learning.
- Production profiling tools & debugging techniques.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years of experience;
- Solid experience in multiple technical teams management and in project management;
- Soul of a leader and like to drive ambitious projects;
- Creative / innovative & pragmatic (challenge “best practices”);
- Autonomous and adaptable (able to work in a constantly changing environment);
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a good sense of humor :-);
- Like to communicate, curiosity, initiative, pragmatism in a collaborative and challenging business & tech environment;
- Fluent in english;
- Broad and deep technical knowledge;
- Good understanding of ops technologies;
- Experience with migrating, architecting, building, and deploying systems and applications to a public Cloud
- Understanding of the stakes of the company (DIY best in class platform & services, customer experience, e-commerce, data driven…);
- Experience in technical design, implementing enterprise software solutions.
