As an M&A Analyst, you will join our growing Finance and M&A team in order to support our acquisition strategy and meet our ambitious goals(e)You will be responsible for screening opportunities, and assist in evaluating and closing potential acquisition prospects for the business(e)You will actively communicate with cross-functional departments to validate strategic fit and support the due diligence process.
This role reports into the VP Finance(e)
Within 1 month, you will:
- Master our unique Convexity culture and internal tools & processes
- Understand our product offering through training
- Meet the global team through virtual coffee meets
- Set your first OKRs
Within 3 months, you will:
- Assist with the identification and screening of potential acquisition targets that are aligned with the strategic priorities of the business
- Participate in due diligence processes and conduct research on prospective deals
- Prepare analysis and financial reports based on shared private and public information
Within 6 months, you will:
- Support preparation of offers, including non-binding indications of interest and final offers(e)Assists with the negotiation, development, and review of definitive agreements, working capital targets, and post-closing adjustments
- Work with cross-functional teams to determine strategic fit and overall attractiveness of an acquisition or investment opportunity
- Support the creation of deliverables that will be presented to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
Within 12 months, you will:
- Help continuously refine 360Learning’s M&A strategy by closely following market trends and evolutions
- Develop and maintain internal tools and process used to support M&A activities
- Interact and help manage third party relationships including investment banks, private equity and VC firms, legal and financial advisors and others
The Skills Set
- 2-3+ years in Investment Banking, in Transaction Services or in an M&A team of a similar organization
- Demonstrated ability to drive and implement cross-functional processes in a changing environment and hyper-growth company
- Working knowledge of the M&A deal lifecycle and experience in creating deliverables for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Prior transaction experience in SaaS a plus but not required
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a data-driven environment Rigorous, efficient and organized
- Fluent English / B2 level or equivalent French
