About the role
As a confirmed full-stack software developer you will be in charge of participating in the design and development of the API of web services, and in contributing to the development of the large business web application consuming them, under the responsibility of a lead developer(e)You will be working with a dedicated Product Owner and Program Manager, within an international and partially remote team of 6 developers.
What you will be doing
- Design new web services via the Open API / Swagger standard, in collaboration with the application Product Owner(e)
- Develop new web services consumed by a web application, in collaboration with the team: through the Ruby on Rails framework and through the Nest framework on the application API gateway.
- Adapt legacy web services to fit new requirements and features, in collaboration with the team and the Product Owner.
- Develop the web application, from the design mockups and the functional specifications, relying on a design system.
- Participate in the isolation of the UI controls which will constitute Ogury’s back-office design system and review code of teammates, write tests (unit, integration, E2E, etc..) and ensure good code quality of the projects.
About you
- Prior or current experience using Node.js and React.js (ideally with an experience on Nest) or a comfortable with Ruby on Rails
- Familiar with designing software for performance and scalability
- Proficiency with TypeScript and experienced with common front-end development tools such as Babel, webpack, npm, yarn
- Familiar with designing software for performance and scalability with some knowledge of styled components and Ant Design and comfortable with writing unit / end-to-end / integration tests
- Ability to work autonomously in a global team and comfortable with English verbal or oral.
