WeMaintain began in 2017 with a simple observation: for years, the relationships and treatment of asset owners, building managers and engineers have been kept to a minimum standard within the building maintenance industry(e)Elevators that only work every other day or escalators that break when you have a suitcase - does that sound familiar? This market is very niche and yet it represents 100 billion euros(e)In order to meet customer needs, WeMaintain has recently moved into fire safety systems through an acquisition in the sector.

In December 2020, WeMaintain officially made this switch with the following mission:

This mission has 4 mains objectives:
- By combining the know-how of the engineers and the agility of the technology, be leaders of the economical, digital and social transitions, in particular by promoting the smart building
- With its collaborators, clients, investors and partners, implement ambitious projects in inclusive environments where care, grit and uniqueness are celebrated
- Revalue the technical professions and give them the place they deserve in our society, using technology in a positive way to help them be key players in the world of tomorrow
- Being a green growth company, committed to working to make buildings and their equipment last longer, and to be repaired rather than replaced

As of 5 September 2022, WeMaintain is also proud to be part of the B Corp community, so that we can continue to be part of a continuous improvement framework.

To ensure initiatives towards the mission are being implemented and result in concrete improvements on the mission objectives and KPIs, we formed a steering committee, composed of one investor, one client, one engineer and one employee(e)Marine Astorg (who is also Product Manager at WeMaintain) is the representative of this steering committee.

Under the supervision of Jade, your role will be responsible for coordinating all environmental and social initiatives linked to our mission of putting the best of people and technology at the heart of the built environment.

👀 Concretely, your role will consist of:

- Articulate an ESG/mission strategy that it is directly tied to the business' strategies and goals and proactively propose initiatives to achieve our mission
- Coordinate with the owners of each initiative, make sure there are no blocking points and that the initiatives get implemented ♻️
- Measure the outcomes of the initiatives and track the ESG and mission main KPIs
- Engage with stakeholders internally and externally to make sure our initiatives are adopted and the mission objectives and values are embodied by everyone at WeMaintain
- Communicate internally and to the steering committee on the progress and outcomes of our initiatives


👑 You’re the right person if you:

- You know how to work with different poles and cultures and bring people together towards a common goal
- You are comfortable in a constantly changing environment, you are aware that your schedule can sometimes change overnight
- You're oral and written proficiency in English, French is desirable
- You are autonomous in your daily work and carry out your projects until they are done
