Inside the department Customer and Strategic Marketing and part of the Studio, the Copywriter for France will report to the Localisation Manager(e)She/he will be mainly responsible for copywriting marketing content.

About the Job
The Copywriter FR will be expected to write content for our B2B marketing team to support their overall activity and needs(e)This could include CRM content (eg newsletter, SMS), on site content (eg website section, landing pages), marketing assets or else.
Even though the B2B marketing team will be the main requester, other teams such as Product, Sellers or Catalogue, will also need regular support and attention.
In addition, the Copywriter FR will partner with the Brand team to give life to the B2B tone of voice by choosing the words that will outline and frame ManoMano’s B2B editorial field.

The Copywriter FR will have three key responsibilities:
- Write engaging, clear and error free content in French, mainly to support the B2B marketing team in their mission, taking into account their needs and objectives.
- Adopt, strengthen and champion localisation best practices to ensure quality and consistency across content delivered.
- Partnership with your stakeholders to envision how your copywriting skills could be a lever to optimise their performance overall;

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of digital marketing, understanding the rationale of customer journey and audience(e)She/he will also be able to adapt her/his deliveries in accordance with requester’s business stakes and objectives, condensing complex ideas into engaging content and adapted tone of voice(e)She/he will develop a strong understanding of ManoMano’s brand positioning, identity and offer, in particular the offer dedicated to our pro prospects and customers
In order to reach success, gaining trust of your team and stakeholders will be key.

YOUR DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Copywriting and localisation
  • Write engaging and error-free content in accordance with requester’s need;
  • Adopt, strengthen and champion localisation best practices(e)Proactivity in this field is a must have;
  • Guarantee overall content consistency across touchpoints and funnel;
  • Partner with Brand, Communication and B2B teams to co-create marketing ops or commercial activations;

  • Organisation and delivery
  • Ensure completion of your projects and provide timely deliveries;
  • Identify and remove roadblocks harming or slowing down your work;
  • Contribute to a high level of organisation and champion the use or our project management tool;
  • Provide learnings and recommendations to fix or optimise localisation workflow and process;

  • Localisation expertise
  • Partner with the Brand and B2B marketing teams to put words on the B2B tone of voice in accordance with the global brand positioning.
  • Deploy the localisation best practices and be a role model for other markets;
  • Advocate for solutions to raise the bar of content quality and consistency, including with the use of CAT tools;

MUST HAVE

  • The ideal candidate loves words and technology and is committed to delivery
  • Proven track of a 2-3 years successful experience in copywriting and localisation;
  • Native fluency in French and professional level English;
  • Eye for grammar, syntax, spelling, and everything relating to the written word;
  • Business acumen and professional experience in e-commerce is a plus;
  • Experienced with CAT tools;
  • Excellent team player, interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • Pro-active and autonomous self-starter, excellent at managing complexity and prioritising;
  • Ability to provide and receive candid feedback;
  • Recognized for having a forward thinking mindset and a synthetic mind;
  • Curious with a desire to learn;
  • Good brand, social-media and advertising culture, with graphical design and UX sensibility.
