As a VP Engineering, reporting to our CTO Aymeric, you will lead and grow our engineering teams to build a killer product: the one-stop-shop for all financial needs of European SMEs, with a stellar UX and rapid improvements.

Our highly-skilled, multi-cultural Tech team of 200 engineers spanning web, mobile, back-and, and SRE collaborates tightly with the Product team to deliver a top-quality product at a fast pace.

?‍??‍? As a VP Engineering at Qonto, you will:

Drive delivery of product features and improvements with a high level of quality and on time.
Scale your team to 500+ engineers by designing and executing talent acquisition and expansion strategies.
Coach your team to increase quality and velocity while the team grows and complexity increases.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement: learn how to write better code in order to ship features faster.
Structure teamwork with the Product team, with other teams inside Qonto, and with third parties.

? About You

Leadership: You have 10+ years of experience and a proven track record as a tech leader.
Management: You managed large teams (100+ people) in structured, international, high-growth companies.
Delivery: You work with methods to scale your team efficiently while sustaining stability and performance.
Mastery: You drive team performance to build software with the highest quality and the best velocity.
Engineering: You can frame the tech strategy and deep dive into design discussions.
Languages: You are fluent in English(e)

? Our hiring process:

- A 60 min video call with one of our Talent Acquisition Managers, to better understand your career plan and answer any of your questions
- A 60 min video call with your future manager, to create a strong alignment on what they will expect from you and tell you more about their way of operating
- A fully remote exercise to evaluate your abilities and give you a taste of what you could work on at Qonto
- Video calls or onsite interviews with future team members (optional) to help you envision yourself at the company
- A final video call or onsite interview with the manager of your future Department
