Team
The Engineering & Data team (E&D) is the central tech hub of Voodoo(e)The team aims to build the most innovative tech products to strengthen Voodoo’s leadership in mobile gaming while successfully accelerating product diversification such as non-gaming apps and blockchain gaming products.
Part of E&D’s focus is to provide a state of the art growth-engine to distribute and scale our apps & games(e)By working on Node.JS, you will take part in this journey of designing and building long-term projects which enable mass production and delivery of ads for our games on various networks(e)
Other examples of our engineering projects include a one-stop-shop SDK for mobile gaming, as well as an auto-bidding tool that predicts the full value users will generate using with state of the art ML algorithms.
Our best-in-class E&D team is 70+ people, including software engineers, cloud infrastructure engineers, data team UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA.

You will either need experience with the following, or a desire to learn, as this is what you would work with(e)We don’t expect you to be perfect, because neither are we.
Profile
- Solid experience building distributed highly scalable back-end applications
- Experience in Javascript/Typescript using NodeJS or extensive knowledge of another similar language
- Exposure to and understanding of the basic AWS cloud services like EC2(e)RDS, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, or equivalent services in another cloud environment
- Strong communication skills, sense of ownership, and problem-solving approach
- Eagerness to learn new skills and best practices
- Familiarity with CI tools and processes like CircleCI and Agile development
- Experience in the Gaming or Advertising industry, is a plus
- Experience with 3rd parties integrations or data management topics, is a plus
- Experience writing unit tests with a TDD mindset, is a plus
- Knowledge of frontend development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript) and frameworks associated (Vue.js, React, Angular), is a plus
