Role
We are looking for an experienced Game Artist to become an integral part of this small and passionate team(e)You will have a daily impact on development in an agile and dynamic environment, with a focus on making fun and highly scalable Blockchain games to be enjoyed by millions(e)We want you to bring your creativity, passion and ideas, combined with your ability to adapt and react to input, and help us build amazing games.
- Communicate with the team on game ideas, designs and specifications to support their development.
- Ability to deconstruct, analyze and adapt mobile and blockchain game mechanics.
- Take full ownership of your work and consistently deliver to the expected industry standards.
- Grow and develop your skills while contributing to the studio's culture and identity from inception.
- Willingness to be adaptable and flexible in an agile environment, iterating based on feedback and testing.
- Creating optimized assets in 2D and 3D appropriate for mobile.
- Creating concept art for story-boards, mockups, 3D modeling and UI creation.
- Working on all visual aspects of the game to ensure a coherent and engaging experience (UI, 2D, 3D, Animations).
Profile
- Knowledge of, or eagerness to learn about, Blockchain and Web3 a must.
- At least 2 years of experience working on game art with demonstrable projects and tools proficiency.
- Knowledge of Unity Engine, art integration and mobile games a strong bonus.
- Experience with Maya, Blender or any 3D software with the ability to execute efficiently across both 2D and 3D.
- Understanding of best practices in the mobile casual game market, particularly UI.
- A sense of gameplay experience and passion for playing and creating mobile games.
- Independent with strong self-organization skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Experience with multiplayer, rapid prototyping and/or game jams a big plus.
- Comfortable communicating and expressing yourself in English.
