?YOUR ROLE WILL BE :
As a Senior UI Designer you will join the User Journey Tribe and focus mainly on leveling up our UI(e)Your mission is simple: make end users fall in love with our product.
You will work together with product managers and front end developers to bring life to our platform in the way of animations, illustrations, UI polish and more.
We want our product not just to be a means to an end, but to inspire “joy of use” and therefore increase stickiness.
What have we been up to so far?
Over the past 2 years, the design team at Hivebrite has been busy building a design system and deploying it across all modules in the front office (the user interface for our end-users)(e)All of this while continuing to build new features and tools for our admins and end users of course!
This foundational work has diminished technical debt, contributed to making our front office accessible (WCAG level AA) and provided us with a powerful toolbox of reusable components that allow us to scale and improve our product in a transversal way.
Now we are looking for a new profile to join the team, someone with deep knowledge and expertise on the craft of UI design to bring our product to the next level.
?YOUR MISSION WILL BE:
- You will be the UI expert of the team
- You will bring movement and dynamism into our product by creating and defining animation principles
- You will question, iterate and contribute to our design system
- You will create simple yet amazing designs
- You will create components and templates that are available to our admins through our page and email builder tools
- You will lead user tests when needed in order to validate your designs
- You will create final detailed specs for developers
- You will work in collaboration with front end developers to ensure your vision and designs become a reality
- You will QA developments to ensure the same quality you put into your designs, reaches the hands of our end users
?YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF:
- You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- You have experience designing and shipping digital products (not just websites)
- You are comfortable working with Sketch
- You are an expert in creating product animations with Principle, Lottie, AE, or other similar software
- You have experience working with design systems or with reusable components
- You speak fluent English
- Nice to have: User research experience, experience in a SaaS environment, you are familiar with accessibility compliance standards
?RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- A 45 min video-call with our lead Designer to better understand your career plan, your experience and answer any of your questions
- A 45 min video-call with our Talent Manager to better know you and answer any of your questions at this stage of the process
- A business case that you prepare on remote and then present during a video-call to our Lead Designer, our Head of Product and one Product Owner (we swear, it's not one week of work)
