Talend is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Databases - to join our growing Infrastructure team in our Nantes or Suresnes offices, remote work is also possible(e)In this role, you’ll be responsible for the stability and scalability of our Talend Cloud service(e)You’ll get to work hands-on with plenty of exciting technology and scale challenges as we grow to support millions of transactions across hundreds of servers in our Talend Cloud environment(e)

How you will make an impact :
- As a team member of the SRE Backend team, you will :
- Contribute to the build (70%) and run (30%) our Talend Cloud infrastructure
- Share your experience and expertise across the R&D team
- Lead and contribute in various migration projects to scale and improve databases systems
- Be proactive and contribute to early design phases and roadmap
- Manage and deploy monitoring solutions for maintaining high availability for production systems and anticipate outages
- Develop effective tooling to turn repeatable actions into automation to anticipate reliability risks and optimize time to deliver
- Define and evangelize cloud-related optimizations and best practices to improve reliability and performance
- Responsible for troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, systems, network, and application stacks
- Work with fellow operations engineers and development teams on complex problems, and make decisions and recommendations about systems improvements after analyzing possible courses of action
- Perform on-call duty as part of a team maintaining the availability and performance of our cloud infrastructure as well as the various internal services and systems that these core services depend on.
The next team member should have:
- Strong experience in DBA
- At least 2 years' experience in PostgreSQL or MongoDB Administration
- Experience in a production environment (scalability and load management)
- Professional English fluent (speaking and writing)
- Ability to work independently, strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Team player
- Experience on any public cloud or other IaaS/PaaS Infrastructures a plus
- Experience in development using DB PostgreSQL a plus
- Experience DevOps/SRE with automation tools (Docker, K8s, Terraform, Prometheus, ELK, etc.) a plus
