Talend is hiring a Software Developer in Tests & Performances for its Change Data Capture team based in Suresnes, France.
Talend Change Data Capture makes it possible to replicate data from source applications to any destination quickly — without the heavy technical lift of extracting or replicating entire datasets(e)This ensures organizations always have access to the freshest, most recent data.
The low-touch, real-time data replication of Change Data Capture removes the most common barriers to trusted data(e)The data lake or data warehouse is guaranteed to always have the most current, most relevant data(e)As a results, users can have more confidence in their analytics and data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities:
· Design and development of end-to-end automated tests and corresponding environments
· Design optimization and improvement in our C/C++ code base to ensure performance stability or improvement
· Ensure the end-to-end tests can be run in a continuous integration pipeline, from environments provisioning to test results report
· Design and execution of manual tests
· Report and track defects
Required Skills:
· BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
· 2 to 5 years of practical experience in the role of Software Engineer
· Good knowledge on test Tools and frameworks like Gatling, K6, …
· Good knowledge on some relational data basis
· In-depth knowledge and practical experience in code optimization and testing techniques
· Good knowledge of C/C++
· Good knowledge and understanding of REST based services, Messaging / Streaming
· Experience in working within agile team international environment
· Passionate about software quality to provide the best experience to our customers
· Strong willing to learn new things including the latest technology
· Professional English & Fluent French (spoken and written)
Optional, but desirable:
· Experience in load and performance testing methodology and framework (Gatling)
· Container and Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Container)
· Cloud Environments / Deployments (AWS, Azure)
· Good understanding of big data technologies (EMR, CDH, Hadoop, Spark, HDFS, Kinesis, Kafka)
· Databases: Snowflake, SQLServer, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka, Kinesis …
