As part of its growth, Talend is looking for a SeniorProduct Owner – to join its Data Governance Domain team based in Nantes, France.
Talend Data Inventory, Talend Data Preparation, & Talend Data Stewardship are the next-generation cloud data governance applications being developed at Talend(e)They bring intelligent and collaborative capabilities to datasets inventory and transformation for our customers and are the corner stone of Talend Data Fabric strategy(e)They leverage the new Talend runtime based on Apache Beam and Apache Spark and are built using Java & Scala, JavaScript and React(e)We use Docker, Kubernetes and modern CI / CD technology. 
 
As part of the Talend R&D Team, the Product Owner will be responsible for defining the Product Backlog for the Talend Data Preparation application in close relationship with our Product Management team(e)She/He provides a clear vision and detailed user stories to the team and supports the team during the sprints.
Additionally, the Product Owner is the key contact point for other R&D departments, which requires good communication skills and a good product understanding.
 
Key Responsibilities

·       Support the Product Management team in the planning / delivery of our products roadmaps, validating value propositions with our customers and measuring the success of our products/features.
·       Design functional solution from Product Management requirements with the help of the UX Designer
·       Manage the requirement process for new releases by providing requirements, qualified feedback and estimations.
·       Owner of the Product Backlog for one or more of our products including the definition of priorities within the backlog and the integration of cross-team requirements.
·       Actively break down of new features into user stories and do timely and qualified review of bug reports.
·       Support the development team with the planning & delivery of sprint activities
·       Actively support our customers with technical and usage information (e.g(e)via forum, Jira etc.).

 
Skills and experience

·       A 7-year+ experience in management of digital projects with business impacts
·       Significant experience of business analysis and UX / Design within digital ecosystems
·       Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to details.
·       Ability to analyze, problem-solve and summarize a variety of issues
·       Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English, both verbally and in writing for operational and business stakeholders.
·       Experience in working within a distributed & international agile team environment.
