Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Acoustic Modeling

SoundHound builds Voice AI products with conversational intelligence that’s more human(e)We support over two dozen languages and voice-enable everything from cars, devices, services, and apps, allowing our customers to extend their brand in new and meaningful ways.

This role focuses on pushing to the limits of current ASR architectures and coming up with novel approaches to speech recognition(e)You will be able to contribute to ASR offerings for multiple languages on all our supported platforms.

In this role you will:

• Train acoustic models
• Apply recent advances in ASR to real world applications
• Improve ASR recipes and scale improvements to other languages and platforms

We would love to hear from you if:

• You are Familiar with Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g(e)pytorch)
• You have working knowledge of Git, Docker, shell scripting
• You can dive into a research paper and make a presentation with its key points
• You have a minimum of eight years of related experience subsequent to obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, or six years subsequent to a Master’s degree, or three years subsequent to a Ph.D.

We’d be especially excited if you are proficient in C++, have experience with ASR or published at Interspeech/ICASSP.
