You will be responsible for accelerating the growth of the“UserManagement and Compliance” feature team which biggest challenge is to handle team managements at scale for teams of 5 or 5,000(and beyond)(e)Coming challenges include building a new permission system and providing tools to ensure administrators and managers can manage their users’ access in a secure way.
You will lead talented engineers to design and deliver on our ambitious roadmap(e)We will expect you to care about the customer, lean in on technical design and implementation, scale the team by hiring and coaching, and obsess about making the team efficient, successful, and happy(e)This is a very collaborative role where you will partner closely with product managers, analysts, designers, researchers, technical leaders, and engineering managers globally.
What will you be doing?
- Bring more value to our customers by driving and delivering on our product roadmap, working with your teams to turn 1-pager specs into features
- Help our customers work happier by delivering to them a reliable product they enjoy every working day
- Help your teams work happier by coaching and developing individuals, and attracting and hiring top talents
- Partner cross-functionally with Product and Design to innovate and bring more value to our customers
- Obsess about the user experience, architectural design, implementation, and quality of the work the teams produce
- Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Front’s engineering management team
What skills and experience do you need?
- A strong product mindset and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, low-ego and high-growth environment: you work well with all kinds of personalities and with teams from multiple cultures and geographies
- A successful experience as an engineering management, or in an equivalent mentorship capacity, in a growing and ambiguous environment, running teams that deliver projects of significant complexity
- Clear, structured thinking and excellent communication skills
- Fast learner and eager to share knowledge
- Fluency in a dynamic language(like Javascript, Python, Ruby, or similar)
- Experience running distributed services in the Cloud
- Full professional English proficiency

- Experience creating permission and security back-office and API that simplify onboarding and offboarding users
