We are looking for an Engineering Manager for our R&D team based in Suresnes(e)
You will lead a team of talented data engineers who build real-time integrations, transformation workflows and related tooling(e)You will work closely with product managers, other engineering leaders, UX, Architecture and Documentation on understanding the requirements and delivering solutions as per the business needs(e)As a successful candidate, you must have a deep background in real-time data engineering, change data capture and leadership experience building and managing engineering teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Building solutions that solve our customers’ problems and deliver value quickly
  • Manage, build and lead technically a team of 8 to 15 developers, mixing frontend and backend engineers
  • Planning & tracking team development activities, collaborating closely with internal cross-functional teams / dependencies to ensure alignment and coordination
  • Providing clear communication on development progress / obstacles
  • Understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level
  • Be accountable for team performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement activities (automation, metrics, process improvements…)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud application development
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in building and managing software engineering teams
  • From a very strong software engineering background yourself (Ideally C++, C# or Java)
  • Excellent personal organisation and ability to prioritise, delegate and carry out multiple tasks autonomously
  • Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
  • Practical experience of Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong facilitation and mentoring/coaching skills
  • Experience in working within a distributed & international team environment
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and clearly in French and English, both verbally and in writing
