The role

Your responsibilities as a Sales Development Representative will be to prospect and qualify opportunities with senior decision makers in the French market(e)You will work alongside Account Executives to find new sales opportunities. 

This role will be part of an established, high performing SDR function that continues to overachieve in developing sales approaches for EMEA prospects.

You will be responsible for introducing GoCardless to new prospects, identifying the client's pains, uncovering opportunities, and growing the pipeline through email outreach and introductory calls(e)This will entail researching and identifying relevant stakeholders in the sales decision-making process. 

This role will primarily be an outbound position to;

  • Introduce how GoCardless can make a real difference to mid-market businesses
  • Articulate our value proposition and generate interest from prospects
  • Convert leads into meetings for your Account Executive colleagues
  • Craft creative email outreach messages 
  • Track and maintain high activity on salesforce.com.

Desired skills

  • Experience in a B2B sales or recruitment role is required
  • Fluency in French is essential
  • Highly organised and motivated to overachieve
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set, able to think outside the box
  • You're keen to develop the skills necessary for promotion to a closing or leadership role
  • An interest in or some knowledge of the payments space 
  • Experience using Salesforce, working in a start-up or FinTech company are all beneficial but not required
