As a Research Manager joining the team in Paris, you will be responsible for team performance and health, project prioritization, and team hiring, collaborating closely with research and design leadership at HQ in San Francisco(e)You will work with the Workflows, Insights, and User Management teams to help our admin customers better manage their teams and workflows in Front. 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the research practice in Paris
  • Drive research strategy and roadmap for your teams, in collaboration with design and product partners
  • Drive foundational and strategic research initiatives for the Admin user type and product teams in Paris, using methods such as ethnographic/field research, diary studies, surveys, user/usability testing, ideation workshops, and any other methods you find impactful
  • Understand and represent users in product decisions with cross-functional peers
  • Connect research to company goals and demonstrate the impact of your team’s work
  • Build tight connections with engineering, research, product, and design teams in San Francisco to collaborate on a holistic view of the user experience

What skills and experience do you need?

  • 2+ years of experience managing researchers in a product organization
  • 5+ years of experience with product organizations conducting UX research
  • Experience with SaaS, B2B or other complex technical systems
  • Experience applying a diverse toolkit of research methodologies
  • Passion for complexity and translating intricate user needs into a delightful product
  • Proven track record of teaching other disciplines about the process and value of research
  • Experience working with Product Managers and Designers to define research needs
  • Advocacy for research insights and examples of insights that led to shipped product experiences
