The research analyst is part of the “Strategic Development” team that works to unlock Dott’s growth through new market expansion(e)They will own urban planning proposals and deliverables, and contribute to a safe and responsible integration of micro-mobility in the public space(e)They will also articulate and strengthen Dott’s thought leadership on a variety of subjects(e)The role is key to executing Dott’s ambitious growth plan, and strengthening Dott’s footprint across Europe(e)The rose is based in Paris or Amsterdam and its scope covers 11 countries in Europe(e)Great opportunity to join a fast-growing European start-up and have an impact !

What You'll Do

  • Urban planning: Work on urban planning projects to support cities in smoothly and efficiently integrating micro-mobility within the public space(e)Urban planning projects could include developing a strong rationale and precise recommendations on relevant parking locations within a city.  
  • Research and argumentation (covering a variety of topics)
  • - Gather insights and gain a strong understanding of a variety of topics through research and stakeholder meetings
    - Develop strong argumentation and white papers to articulate Dott’s thought leadership and develop compelling recommendations
  • Stakeholder management: collaborate with various stakeholders across the company to gain a strong understanding of a variety of topics and strengthen Dott’s argumentation accordingly

What You'll Need

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in policy or urban planning
  • Good understanding of urban planning, ability to develop compelling recommendations and maps for a smooth integration of micro-mobility in public space
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously
  • Ability to ramp up on a variety of subjects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical writing skills
  • Persuasive writer: develop reports to be enjoyable reading and to offer clear and compelling recommendations
  • Ability and willingness to deliver high quality content and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Showcase a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to get your hands dirty
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environmentMotivation for the space is a plus (startups, mobility, public sector work) 
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint/ Google slides, Google sheets, and mapping software
  • Fluency in English and another European language required(e)
  • Additional languages a plusBased in Paris or Amsterdam
