As our English Content Lead, you will drive and scale content production in English to fuel our Global/English Marketing Content strategy.

You will manage a team of 2 English Content Managers & Copywriters, delivering high-quality copy for global strategic content and for our English speakers in France, our first market, but also for Germany, Spain and Italy(e)You will report directly to Soline, our Senior Content Lead and work closely with our other Content Leads and Kim, our Head of Content.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻As an English Content Lead at Qonto, you will

Support, manage your team and help each team member thrive. You will be responsible for the objective setting, and will support the team via workload prioritization, process improvement to ensure daily delivery but also take a crucial part in their personal development at Qonto.
Ensure our English copywriting stays very high-quality by expanding and strengthening our English style guides and standards, mentoring the team and giving editing advice when necessary.
Collaborate with our different global & local teams to make sure our overall Global/English-first marketing content is relevant and consistent with our brand platform, business goals, targets’ needs and strategy as a company.
Contribute to the building of the global Marketing Content strategy by sharing first class inspirations and creating new impactful formats.
Track, analyze, and report our results to make sure the right investments are made.

Her path: Backed with a Master’s Degree in HR, Soline initially worked as a recruiter before changing track and joining Trainline’s top-notch Customer Service team in 2016(e)She quickly learnt how to inject her writing with empathy and soothe customers’ pain points with her words(e)Piece by piece, she soon became familiar with different formats and all the stages of the marketing funnel(e)Soline arrived at Qonto in 2021 and immediately got to work setting higher standards for copy across all channels(e)To do so, she needed help(e)So she built a team of Content heroes for the French and Anglophone markets.
What does she bring to the team? Soline gives her team what it needs to produce great work: an environment of trust, where each member is comfortable taking the initiative(e)Where each can improve, everyday(e)With Soline, there’s no compromise on quality and the customers’ needs are the priority(e)Always.
She works from home in Angers, has 1 son and a passion for improv’ comedy.

🏅About You

Experience: You have 3+ years of shown experience in managing content creation at an advertising creative agency or in-house for a fast growing company(e)Bonus points for B2B experience.
Structure: You have strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Marketing content expert: You are a specialist in content best practices across marketing, social, video, email and web copy(e)You also have a basic knowledge of SEO.
Strategic and hands-on editor: In your first years in the fields, you have demonstrated ability to craft clean, thoughtful copy in a distinct brand voice(e)Then you’ve proved to be able to edit content/deliver feedback in the most constructive and diplomatic way.
Mastery and strong attention to detail: You’re creative, strategic but also have an excellent editor’s eye, the best command of grammar, punctuation, AP Style, and basic web-writing principles.
Great team player: Thanks to clear written and verbal communication skills, you love solving problems with your teammates but you are also capable of working well with agencies, freelancers, and the rest of the Growth teams;
Extra clear and effective communicator: You are able to quickly grasp complex concepts and express them clearly(e)You take pride in always delivering the most informative, well-organized, clear and diplomatic messages for the people you work for.
Languages: You have flawless written and verbal communication skills in English(e)Being fluent in French is a plus.
Education: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, or relevant field.
