Job Description/Responsibilities

This position is part of the PUBGM (PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Mobile) Western European regional publishing team(e)As the Social Media Manager you will build and govern our SoMe strategy, identify new digital marketing trends and spread innovations across PUBG Mobile Western Europe(e)You will be responsible for driving all aspects of the PUBG Mobile franchise Social Media content strategy and execution(e)You will lead social media content in the areas of marketing promotion, community growth and game operations.

 

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

 

  • As a social media manager for the entire Western European region, you will drive the content strategy and adapt global programs to the needs of multiple markets(e)You will be responsible for driving growth and engagement, ensuring that exciting, varied and relevant content is at the heart of this growth.
  • Your mission is to develop and manage an overall plan and direction for social media KPIs, our overall content and to monitor consumer feedback and overall content performance fluctuations within the PUBGM platforms(e)You will monitor social media updates from competing games and provide suggestions accordingly.
  • You will work with a roster of agencies to develop strong creative in support of regional brand goals, whilst taking opportunities to shape and execute more localised content programmes relevant to one of our major markets such as France or Germany, UK, Spain etc.
  • You will identify and deliver localised content opportunities according to holidays, festivals and cultural preferences for Western European audiences.
  • You will monitor trending content in Western Europe markets (Germany, UK and France as top priorities), define and adjust strategy and produce pan-entertainment content accordingly.
  • Manage the design and rollout of new PUBGM Social Media channels in additional languages and platforms.
  • Responsible for amplifying major influencer and celebrity activation programmes via our social media channels with the support of our agency network.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and above.
  • German speaker and proficient in the use of English for daily communication(e)Must be comfortable with both written and spoken communications(e)Strong attention to detail for grammar and spelling is required.
  • 7+ years of social media strategy(e)Experience running branded campaigns on major content platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
  • In depth knowledge of the use of a range of Social Media platforms.
  • Proven experience in employee advocacy and/or social selling plan deployment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, networking aptitude, impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
  • A creative mindset, we want someone who can think outside the box and capable to challenge norms(e)We are a gaming company in a competitive landscape, disruptive ideas are often needed.
  • Strong organizational skills, you will have to build the schedule for all content and ensure content executes on time across a multi-country region.
  • Autonomous, proactive, agile, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you are comfortable in a multicultural and complex matrix environment.
  • Data-driven, you will track all performance and adapt the plan to reach our goals.
  • Thorough understanding of Western Europe's players(e)You are also an expert on German/UK market trends, you know the pop-culture/entertainment/geek/internet market in order to build local content.
  • ROI oriented mindset, data analysis skills and statistical prowess to draw actionable insights.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A real passion for the game industry with genuine interest and knowledge in the mobile games market(e)A FPS player with a passion for competitive games is a plus.
  • Able to communicate and work closely with the PUBG Mobile team, adapt to different time zones, be able to respond to team requests in a timely manner and be competent in handling multiple programmes across multiple markets.
  • A willingness to travel from time to time as required.
  • You will be a confident, proactive and approachable personality that oozes team spirit with the added extra of being a go-getter, ambitious and tenacious in nature who can work autonomously when required all with a great sense of humor.
