About the Role

IEG Global’s Level Infinite brand is seeking a passionate Video Editor to join our new and exciting European operations.

We want a smart, creative and driven professional(e)We’re looking for a strong visual storyteller and writer who can connect the gaming community with our growing portfolio of studios and our teams who serve them(e)And we need a storyteller who understands the importance of shooting, producing and editing engaging videos for the web and social media, tying together our multiple internal B2B and B2C interests and stakeholders(e)The ideal candidate will be able to handle both high-volume and high-quality video work, with the ability to do high-speed turnaround on tight deadlines, while also working on visual projects with longer lead time.

This role is perfect for a professional videographer with corporate experience and/or a former multimedia journalist, who can shoot and edit on professional equipment, but also tackle a package done on a smartphone, if the situation calls for it(e)We want you for your creative vision, storytelling ability, solutions and actions(e)This job requires the wearing of many hats, but you’ll be joining an exciting company that offers amazing opportunities to those comfortable building and creating systems and structures to achieve results(e)We expect this job to be based in the UK, Netherlands, Germany or France, but are willing to look at candidates who can make a strong case for it being based elsewhere on the continent.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, write, produce and edit video packages
• Effectively and professionally work with our studios and PR Team to develop a product that will create great moments and engagement. 
• Develop clients’ ideas from a seed to a powerful “on-air” execution
• Develop original content through social listening and independent sources.
• Deliver online content in an engaging, exciting, and accurate way
• Pitch work-ahead stories and coordinate with your team to develop a plan for impact
• Write and post daily on all digital and social platforms.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 

• 3-5 years of experience as a multi-skilled journalist or corporate videographer.

• Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or similar field a plus
• Expertise in photojournalism, editing & content management systems are a must
• Knowledge of multiple camera types and formats, Premier, Final Cut Pro and Axis graphics is important
• Organizational skills and the ability to work under tight and longer deadlines
• Languages: Professional fluency in English required to communicate with teams located in different countries; Professional proficiency in another language preferred, with a specific emphasis on German, Spanish and/or French to produce relevant contents for the targeted markets
• Strong, established relations with media partners and a good understanding of the Europe media landscape
• Experience in the games or tech sector is a plus
