Our work spans across many domains(e)Namely, cloud infrastructure, software delivery lifecycle, observability and core architecture services are our bread and butter.
Your focus will be on the core architecture services track and particularly, on our internal Identity Management service(e)This is the most integral component of our architecture, handling hundreds of thousands of requests on a monthly basis(e)Its stability, security, scalability and reliability are key for Dott.
Together with your colleagues within the other areas of the Platform team, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical architecture of the future and design systems that allow Dott to scale but primarily, provide a great experience to your clients, the Dott engineering teams.
This role can be based in Paris or Amsterdam.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, support and maintain our Identity Access Management service in production
- Architect the next evolution of our identify management services
- Be part of the on-call rotation to support the application in production
- Focus on improving the quality, stability, scalability and observability of the service
- Work together with your colleagues from the Platform team to envision and design together the future of the Platform services at Dott
- Documenting and sharing best-practices for your colleagues to leverage
- Research new technologies to continuously evolve our platform
- Occasionally develop shared services and core components of the system
What You’ll Need
- At least 5 years of backend development experience building production-quality code
- Extensive experience with Go programming language
- Good knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Solid understanding of Authentication and Authorisation mechanisms is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, infra-as-code tools like Terraform and cloud providers like GCP is a big plus
- Interest in learning and applying new technologies and solutions
- Good understanding of microservices
- Strong focus on code quality and scalability
- High-execution and ownership mindset
- Good understanding of automated testing
- Excellent English language and communication skills
