Your Role
As a member of the Credit team, you will be managing a portfolio of incredible customers, making sure that all outstanding debts are settled in a timely manner(e)Invested inCredit Management tasks (payment application, dunnings, account reconciliation...) you will have full ownership of your ledger(e)You will also need to report on the key metrics and propose innovative solutions to successfully manage your accounts.
The most exciting thing about this role is that you will be joining the team at a key moment : when we arebuilding and structuring the credit management processes that will set the ground basis of our exciting future !
What your team will look like
- The Credit team is a small and recent team with big ambitions(e)We are focused on getting a keen understanding of Convelio’s logistics and processes, in order to create and promote a real order to cash culture in the company(e)We are curious, passionate and ambitious people, with many ideas, and a sharing mindset
What you’ll do
- Interacted daily with customers to ensure payments are appropriately managed
- Daily application of customer payments, billing and account reconciliations
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Report monthly AR metrics on invoices and payments
- Recommend process improvements to save time reviewing/processing customer payments
- Generate customer invoices and credit notes
- Weekly mailings of customer account statements
- Processing internal requests related mainly to billing and payments coming from the sales and Ops teams
- Provide support to the accounting team, which includes bank account reconciliations, journal entries, month end close support
- Train and support the teams on customer specific invoicing requirements
- Work with Financial Systems support and IT to resolve technical issues
You !
- Bachelor Degree with strong interests in finance & accounting;
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a Cash Collection Specialist or similar role
- You’re fluent in English and French.
- You have some knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
- You are next-level attention to detail and having great problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
- You have a strong interest in accounting, finance, logistics and international trade!
