To manage the R&D team that develops the Talend Change Data Capture, Talend is looking for an Engineering Manager, based in Suresnes R&D Center (remote friendly).
Maintaining the freshness, quality, and relevance of data in data lakes and data warehouses is a never-ending effort(e)And, despite the proliferation of machine learning and automated solutions, much of our data analysis is still the product of inefficient, mundane, and manually intensive tasks.
Talend Change Data Capture makes it possible to replicate data from source applications to any destination quickly — without the heavy technical lift of extracting or replicating entire datasets(e)This ensures organizations always have access to the freshest, most recent data.
The low-touch, real-time data replication of Change Data Capture removes the most common barriers to trusted data(e)The data lake or data warehouse is guaranteed to always have the most current, most relevant data(e)As a results, users can have more confidence in their analytics and data-driven decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proven experience in design complex system low latency, high throughputs
- Sound experience in management or team-leadership experience in an international development environment.
- Experience in software development (back-end and system development)
- Experience working on Agile software development teams.
- Experience in coordination of efforts in development, QA, build and support of your own software.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud ecosystem & SaaS Application development
- Verbal and written communication in English.
- Team building and coordination skills.
- Experience working with an international team to deliver complex software solutions.
- Familiarity with standard dev tools: JIRA, GitHub.
- Result driven personality, high enthusiasm, energy, and confidence.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
