The role

As Demand Generation Manager - Southern Europe you will manage demand generation programs for France, Spain and support our expansion in Southern Europe. 

This is an individual contributor role focused on generating marketing qualified accounts (MQAs) that convert, via our SDR and sales team, into pipeline and bookings. 

This role is ideal for a growth-minded marketer experienced in targeting start-ups/ scale-ups, mid-market and enterprise sized companies(e)You will be based in the Paris office, with the flexibility to work from home and travel as needed. 

You will report to the Head of Demand Generation - Southern Europe and work closely with internal stakeholders, the Southern European General Manager and wider sales org to create demand generation plans aligned to commercial objectives(e)You will be responsible for identifying the most attractive pockets of opportunity and develop the right marketing approaches to unlock them(e)To do this, you will need to collaborate with our broader marketing functions (including Audience, PR, Social, Marketing Operations, Design) and external agency partners.

  • GTM plan: Execute effective digital-first marketing strategies to grow a strong, predictable pipeline and generate revenue(e)Secure and strengthen our position in the payments landscape in France, Benelux, and in new territories we are launching in Southern Europe, such as Spain(e)Have a clear understanding of the local market’s needs and challenges.
  • ROI: Co-manage the demand generation budget for our Southern European scope, especially France & Spain for approved program execution.
  • ABM: Execute a rolling plan of demand generation and pipeline acceleration programs aligned to target account lists(e)Define how/ when to speak to prospects per funnel stage.
  • Campaigns: Align and customize global campaigns to fit regional needs(e)Localize and create targeted campaigns to drive demand through a variety of channels including: paid ads, webinars, content syndication, direct mailing, etc(e)Track and analyse campaign activity, results and its impact to sales pipeline & revenue(e)Create local campaigns when/ where needed to make sure there are no gaps in local market needs.
  • Sales alignment: Support, enable and collaborate with SDRs to build pipeline by timely following up MQAs and assuring a good conversion rate.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with all internal stakeholders/ teams: wider marketing team, PR, Social Media, Content, Growth, Product, Partner Marketing, Customer Advocacy, etc(e)to make sure that our overall plan is relevant and consistent with our brand and overall growth strategy. 
  • External Collaboration: Collaborate closely with external agencies and freelancers to coordinate and execute activities for Social Media, PR, Translations, etc.
  • Revenue & performance: Measure, analyze and report on the impact of programs and improve our performance when & where needed(e)Track our results to make sure the right investments are made and closely monitor which channels are working.
  • Tactics: Identify tactics/assets that are most impactful for pipeline acceleration(e)Identify and manage third party organizations, associations and channels.
  • Localization: Execute localization & manage translation of content, campaigns, assets, etc(e)to ensure timely and accurate messaging as well as provide ad hoc direct translations when needed.

Desired skills

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in B2B Marketing / ABM Strategies
  • Drive: Data and experiment-driven
  • Languages: Fluency in French, English, and professional level Spanish
  • Success: Experience in creating and implementing successful demand generation and pipeline acceleration programs, including ABM programs
  • Mindset: Autonomous, proactive, with an international mindset and strong business acumen
  • Approach: Pragmatic and has the passion to measure the impact of one’s work
  • Knowledge: Excellent understanding of marketing trends and tools/ tech stack (webinar platforms, email automation, etc.).  
  • Communication: Good communication skills(e)Able to work cross-functionally within multiple internal teams and external agencies and freelancers.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Agility: Proven ability to work under tight deadlines with limited resources
