As a Business Consultant, you will consult directly with customers and prospects, understanding their business, their industry, business requirements and competitive landscape. You will leverage your business, industry, and product expertise to implement project44 solutions & services that enhance productivity and create new levels of supply chain visibility(e)You will deliver business process and solution workshops, product demonstrations and education, proofs of value and other solution accelerators.

You will become the trusted functional advisor for our customers, designing solutions, answering business questions, and modeling possible solutions, and facilitating project44 solution deployment for new customers(e)You will work as an integral part of a project team with a program manager and other stakeholders(e)You will also collaborate with our sales teams to define, design, and detail the functional aspects and feasibility of integration with project44's SaaS solution.

Key Accountabilities:

• investigates and models customers’ business functions, use cases, processes, information flows and data structures 
• investigates and defines operational requirements and problems, seeking and consulting on effective business solutions by using project44’s solution landscape
• analyses underlying issues arising from investigation of requirements and problems and identifies available solution options
• captures new business requirements and ensures that requirements are documented, distributed, reviewed, discussed, modified, and ultimately approved
• tests, configures, and implements developed integrated solutions
• demonstrates understanding of the Transportation & Logistics market, including trends, industry business processes and industry use cases
• delivers recommendations to product & engineering teams based on customer and prospective customer feedback
• partners with Sales and CSM peers to drive new sales and expand existing business, runs comprehensive discovery workshops with enterprise level customers
• executes customized product demonstrations that speak to the specific needs of the customer or prospect
• supports the responses to RFP’s, RFI’s, and Information Security questionnaires from a Professional Services perspective
• estimates proposed implementation solutions and produces Statements of Work and functional design documents that fully capture project requirements
• manages a variety of client accounts simultaneously

Requirements & Preferred Skills

• 5 years of industry experience in the field of Freight Forwarding and supply chain processes
• Experience in consulting, pre-sales, implementation roles focused on SaaS technologies
• Direct experience with Transportation and Logistics applications is strongly preferred
• Proven track record of managing complex, technical sales cycles with global enterprises
• Ability to work as part of a team and to accommodate different personalities and skills within that team
• Ability to work under minimal supervision to complete assigned responsibilities
• Strong team player that works well with clients, colleagues and sr(e)management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to relay technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Fluent in Business English; any additional EU language would be a plus
• Ability to understand and document technology requirements to integrate with cloud-based and on-premise applications
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, onsite customer workshops may happen in 3-4 consecutive days across Europe
