Job Description/Responsibilities
We are currently looking for top talent to join the organisation in a variety of country specific and regional roles in Western Europe. The Brand Partnerships Manager will work on securing and delivering partnership deals for Tencent’s portfolio of titles across PC, console and mobile titles such as SYNCED: Off-Planet, PUBGM, Arena of Valor and Avatar amongst other titles. These partnerships will drive an additional dimension of consumer engagement and brand building in the marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with studio partners and cross-functional internal team to secure & execute compelling integrated campaigns that broaden audience reach for Tencent titles.
- Centrally support discussions with 3rd Party brand partners throughout Western Europe for PC, console and mobile products.
- Oversee development and execution of marketing campaigns with brand partners at a global, regional, and local level.
- Project manage and co-ordinate campaigns with new and existing brand partners as well as agencies, supervising the in-market activation activation as well as owning the asset development and approval process.
- Co-ordinate cross functional support within the Western European team working collaboratively with Brand, PR, Community, Performance, Legal and Social Media teams to ensure effective planning and execution.
- Own the development of the Brand Partnership Toolkit for regional and partner teams.
- Manage the collation of partnership campaign evaluations/case studies.
- Align partnership goals with studios partners and internal stakeholders to unlock support required for delivery and execution.
- Be an ambassador for Tencent games when dealing with external organisations.
- Travel (as necessary) to international locations as a representative of Tencent Games.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Excellent English language skills.
- 3-5 years previous experience designing and executing partnership programmes on either a country specific or region wide basis.
- Clear self-motivation with a history of achieving and sustaining high performance.
- Excellent relationship builder who quickly builds trust through active listening and by consistently delivering on his / her commitments.
- Strong knowledge of the marketing and creative asset development process as well brand partnership implementation.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Demonstrable experience in self-prioritising of work.
- Passionate, committed, self-starter with high levels of initiative, energy and ownership.
- Proactive and approachable personality that thrives in a dynamic team environment.
- Ambitious and tenacious in nature, able to work autonomously when required and maintain a great sense of humor.
- Personal passion for video games and digital entertainment.
- Valid passport and ability to travel as required.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Fluency in an additional European language a plus.
- Previous experience operating within a new team or startup environment.
Reports to
Head of Publishing – Western Europe.
Location of Role
- UK, France, Germany or Netherlands.
- Home based with periodic travel to central London, UK as well as other international locations.
