The role of an Accountant at Qonto consists of helping the General accountant with the daily bookkeeping of providers and clients but also supporting him for the annual closing(e)Make sure that our books are the most representative of the economics figures.
You will join a team of 12 talented people to help you succeed in your ambitious mission.
???? As an Accountant at Qonto, you will
• Take charge of accounting processes: You will perform the monthly, quarterly, yearly financial close and reporting processes, as well as the upstream bookkeeping processes of account receivable and accounts payable.
• Accounting accuracy: Ensure the lettering and make reliable our providers/clients ledger.
• Meet the deadlines: You will help ensure that close reporting is completed quickly.
• Improve financial processes: You will take an active role in the automation of our accounting and reporting processes of the AP/AR(e)You will contribute to the setup and enhancement of our new accounting consolidation process.
• Work for Headquarters and subsidiaries: You will produce Qonto’s headquarters and subsidiary accounting entries.
? What you can expect

?About You
• Experience: You have 2+ years of work experience (including trainee assistant accountant roles) in an audit, at an accounting firm, or in a position as a general accountant at a corporation.
• Accounting knowledge: You have a solid knowledge of the Account Payables/Receivables processes in the French GAAP.
• Mastery: You excel at using accounting ERPs and Excel(e)Knowledge of Sage 1000 is a plus.
• Team player: You can work strategically and collaboratively with other finance team members (FP&A, Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Finance Officer, etc.).
• Analytical mindset: You have strong analytical skills and experience in using structured approaches to problem-solving, with attention to detail.
• Languages: You speak both French and English fluently.
• Education: You have a French degree with a focus in Accounting, Controlling, or Audit.
