As a User Researcher, you’ll join our product team (6 PMs, 4 product designers, 1 product ops) to define, craft, and ship a world-class product(e)You’ll report directly to Pauline Marol, VP of product(e)As our first user researcher at PlayPlay, you’ll be in charge of conducting user research through different research strategies and methodologies(e)You’ll be playing a key role, coaching Product Managers and Product Designers in their own research projects as well as driving your own research projects for more long term and strategic topics(e)
MISSIONS ?
Influence product strategy and roadmap
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand research needs for long term objectives
- Work together with product managers and product designers to embed actionable user insight into the product discovery, design and build processes
- Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies.
Conduct research
- Translate complex design problems into testing hypotheses and working iteratively with product designers
- Explore different ways to solve problems, identifying pros & cons, questions, implications.
- Identify the best method based on research goals, resources and timelines
- Defining research questions and selecting appropriate methods of data collection
- Use a diverse set of UX research tools.
Evangelize user research internally and externally
- Transform your findings into easily understandable insights and compelling narratives
- Present your findings to designers, developers, and other stakeholders
- Participate actively in our product team to improve our processes, workflows and tools
- Be the voice of PlayPlay in the user research community, actively participate in slack groups, meetups etc(e)
REQUIREMENTS ?
- You have at least 3 years of experience as UX Research Specialist or similar role
- You’re experienced with qualitative and user-centered design methodologies
- You have a natural ability to get things done(e)You qualify as an “achiever”
- You have excellent communication skills (in French and in English) to engage with all customers and stakeholders
