For our growing Design Team, we are hiring a UI Designer.
We are looking for a UI Designer with at least 3 years of experience to implement our Figma migration plan, create and streamline our Design System within Botify’s integrated product suite. As a member of our Product team based in Paris, you will join 6 designers and 5 product managers and partner with the engineering team.
What you’ll do
Facilitate the migration and implementation of the Design System(e)You'll onboard and support Product Designers to build and update interface components and patterns. You'll create a strong partnership with Product Managers, Product Designers and Front-End Developers(e)You’ll make sure that the design components are aligned with Storybook components.
Build the design system in Figma(e)You'll create best in class foundational components, patterns and visual language that are suitable for both designers and developers(e)You'll identify opportunities for unifying designs across the product suite and improve the interface’s overall look and feel(e)You know how to evaluate when to create a new component/pattern and when it is better to reuse an existing component.
Manage the evolutions of the Design System(e)You’ll craft a roadmap for establishing the design system as well as maintaining it(e)You'll document processes for how and why to create, use and retire components in our Design System.
You will follow and measure the impacts of the design system(e)You’ll develop standardized Design System Metrics, track and improve adoption.
Ensure the adoption of best practices(e)You will be responsible for communicating the vision of the design system and disseminating good practices regarding the use of components(e)To ensure a good understanding of component usage, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the Design System documentation(e)You will be on constant watch to identify best practices and design patterns(e)You will work to make the Design System compliant with accessibility standards.
Contribute to design projects across the entire product lifecycle(e)Working closely with engineering and product you’ll delight our users with elegant and usable solutions(e)Your work will include: information architecture, mapping user flows, prototyping, creating high-fidelity mock-ups
Who you are
You have at least 3 years of experience in UI Design and/or building and managing design systems with Figma
To conduct your mission, you have keen attention to detail and are highly organized and autonomous
You are familiar with front-end development
You’re a team player with a sense of humor, a desire to learn and to share
You have an interest in the tech, software, and start-up space
You have written and verbal communication skills both in English and French
You are a tech-savvy individual with a capacity to quickly learn new technologies and technical products
