We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong machine learning background to join our Data Science team based in Paris to optimize and scale our machine learning-based features.
The Data Science team participates in the full project’s lifecycle, from brainstorming and definition to release and evaluation(e)We use advanced statistics and machine learning algorithms at scale (over 4 Petabytes of data) to solve our customers’ problems.
Some of the projects our team recently worked on:
- Analyzing the thousands of features we have in our unified data model to prioritize recommendations that secure our customers’ organic search traffic.
- Capturing issues using forecasting and anomaly detection algorithms to alert our clients based on historical crawl and logs data.
- Understanding unstructured text using natural language processing and the latest machine learning techniques to gain valuable insights, analyze users’ intentions, and optimize the internal linking of our customers’ websites.
Responsibilities :
- Building, maintaining and optimizing our machine learning pipelines and services.
- Leverage tools and frameworks to scale and improve the performance of our data science-driven features.
- Collaborating on design and code reviews to ensure a high-quality platform.
- Collaborating with our data scientists and engineers to deploy our models at scale (5+ billion crawled pages per month).
Requirements :
- Proven ability to write performant Python code.
- Knowledge of machine learning and natural language processing.
- Experience in processing large amounts of data and deploying at scale.
- Proven ability to design and review architecture designs.
- Experience in collaborating on Git, with code reviews and CI/CD pipelines.
- Team player, pragmatic, take an iterative approach to build and deliver, and have excellent communication skills.
- Full proficiency in English and French.
Nice-to-have :
- Experience working with a data science team that delivers features into a product.
- Experience in developing and managing applications in AWS (e.g(e)Sagemaker, ECR, Lambda).
- Experience working with SQL, data warehouses, and relational data.
