- We are the B2B part at TheFork, 40-50 developers.
- We are working on software that allows the restaurant to manage itself, an ERB.
- You will find duality in product/engineering in the tech part of the company(e)A duo of product engineering directors manages a domain (B2B) that comprises some pairs of product engineering managers working with teams of 6 developers (+ QA, Design, Data)(e)The production vision is key of our development.
- We base our work on the Shape Up methodology(e)The Shapes are co-constructed by the whole team, product, developers, design…
- The product part is inspired by "Continuous the habits" using OST (opportunity solution tree).
- In addition to the Shape Up “Cooldowns” (a tech dedicated time, 2 weeks every 6), we are pushing a concept of owners(e)As in open source, you will be responsible for some repositories (Friday afternoon), although participating in all others during the delivery.
- We are in microservices, AWS, Node, React, React-native, Graphql, typescript, Rabbitmq, Grafana, ELK…
- This year is dedicated to an excellent cleaning and improvement of our product(e)The aim is to start next year on the cleanest possible basis to focus on innovation.
The mission
As part of our upgrade of our products this year, we switched the main user paths of our mobile application from webview to react native.
We took the opportunity to improve the application's quality, design, code, and architecture significantly.
A team has been dedicated to this, two developers have been trained and are now application owners.
We are looking for a lead to continue this improvement, help with new features, support the owners, and educate and train everyone around best practices and react native.
Gradually we want all our 40-50 full-stack developers to be able to work on the application.
All the features that the different teams will invent must be implemented on the mobile with a good level of quality and only if it's relevant(e)We have recruited a product dedicated to the subject as an entry point to train each team(e)In the same way, we want a group of 2 owners, including a lead to ensure the quality and consistency of the work done by everyone during the product evolution.
We are currently looking for this lead.
