BackMarket is looking for Backend Software Developers who will help to design, develop, and manage the technical functionalities related to the evolution and adaptation of our international business.

You will be working in an agile "build it and run it" environment where engineering teams build, launch, monitor and support the product that they own.

The Browsing team, one of the teams working on the website and mobile app for clients, is looking for a new back-end engineer to join the team! The scope of the Browsing team focuses on creating new amazing features for the website and mobile app navigation, product listing pages, and product pages, in order to provide users with the best possible browsing experience to help them find the right product(e)The team also deals with several technical challenges: monitoring and improving the performance and response time of our API, and transforming our monolith into a service-oriented architecture.

What you will bring to the team :

2 - 5 years of experience as a talented developer
Love in distributed, high-volume services in Python (or any language) and good knowledge in shipping high-quality code.(clean code, TDD, BDD, DDD, SOLID)
You have definitely a product-oriented mindset; you are also keenly interested in the team's technical challenges, but also in the team's functional domains.
Curiosity, proactivity, team spirit and passion
Scrum and Kanban are not karate moves and you hate the V cycle.
Great verbal and written communication skills, in English at least.
Interest in our tech stack : AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, RestFul API, Python, VueJs, Nuxt, Algolia, Datadog, Spinnaker, Nginx.
Beginner chess players accepted(e)We also take those who prefer board games and musicians :)
