About us:

We’re looking for an intern to join our Innovation Lab and help our sellers reach the highest product quality level possible, by analyzing defective products, finding root cause of issues and suggesting practical solutions to address them.

Based in our office in Bordeaux, you will work in strong collaboration with the Quality Team, responsible to monitor the quality of our seller portfolio across all markets and categories, and the Supply Team, owning the relationship with the sellers.

Your Mission (If You Accept It): 🥇

-Perform a Technical Analysis of SAV tickets related to hardware issues (defective batteries, display, tactile, audio…) and identification of issues to be corrected by seller for improved Quality and Customer satisfaction.

-Perform Failure Analysis and Hardware Testing of electronic devices (iPhones, Macbooks etc) to identify root cause of issues at the customer(e)This will include using established lab testing as well as develop custom electrical tests to push the diagnosis further.

-Report findings and learnings to the cross-functional team and upper management.

-Create a library of root causes that can be later used to develop best practices and preventive measures for Product Quality Assurance.

-Based on root cause, develop recommendations for corrective actions to be taken by sellers / refurbishers to reduce defective.

-Develop standard methods and procedures to perform similar diagnosis and analysis at scale.

-Develop a cartography of our marketplace sellers, perform a risk analysis to help taylor the Quality Assurance Plan to risk level.

You’re At The Right Place If: ⭐

You have a EE degree or are pursuing an Electrical / Electronics degree in an Engineering School.
You are curious and are a good team player.
Ability to read a schematic diagram and perform basic electrical testing to isolate an issue with a component.
Genuine interest in Embedded systems, Consumer Electronics, Circular Economy and a strong desire to improve things.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Good technical writing and rigorous documentation skill.

About the internship:

- Starting date is in January, 2023

- Duration : 6 months (until July 2023)

- Location : Bordeaux, France
