We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Product Counsel to join our Legal team!
Reporting to the VP, Associate General Counsel, the successful candidate will be a strategic advisor and a key legal voice in the product development cycle, including assisting Product, R&D, Marketing, and other teams to develop thoughtful strategies towards product development while assessing and mitigating legal risk.
This role requires a love of technology, sharp legal acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do:
- Partner and embed with Product and R&D to understand and assess products, features, and initiatives, from early development stages through launch;
- Advise internal company stakeholders on a range of topics throughout the product development lifecycle, including privacy, AI, commercial contracts, intellectual property, open source, and compliance;
- Build upon and expand processes to facilitate growth and expansion of the product suite;
- Work collaboratively across multiple functions, including Product, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Privacy, and Security to thoroughly understand business activities and future plans in order to identify, investigate, and manage product issues as they arise;
- Keep current on relevant privacy, AI, IP, regulatory, consumer protection, and advertising laws and regulations to provide an ongoing ability to provide risk-tolerant, compliance-oriented guidance;
- Draft and/or review agreements impacting our products and services, including third party integration and partnership agreements;
- Draft and manage the implementation of product policies, FAQs, and disclosures.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant legal experience (with at least one experience as a Product or Privacy or Contract Counsel), ideally in-house at a SaaS company;
- Must be qualified to practice law in a European or US jurisdiction;
- Demonstrated experience on product related issues, including (i) advising on privacy, commercial, intellectual property, open source, and consumer protection issues; (ii) reviewing and drafting tech transaction documents; and (iii) assessing issues of first impression;
- Strong familiarity with technology sector;
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to collaborate effectively as part of a larger team;
