About the job:
Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller based in Paris, you are responsible for the Group Consolidation and Financial reporting in both IFRS and US GAAP. You are a Technical Accounting expert in IFRS and in US GAAP, able to analyze and conclude on complex and transversal operations in a high growth environment.
What you’ll do:
- Be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual Consolidation of the Group (comprising 25+ legal entities in 17 countries) in accordance with IFRS accounting standards today, and with both IFRS and US GAAP in the near future.
- Prepare external financial reporting according to requirements
- Actively participate in the IPO readiness process
- Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting standards(e)Monitor evolution of these accounting standards and deploy any relevant change.
- Perform technical accounting analysis as needed: scope changes (acquisitions, mergers), equity and share-based compensations, goodwill and other intangibles valuations, impairment testing, etc(e)
- Share proactively outcomes with external auditors.
- Support the integration of acquisitions in accordance with Contentsquare’s process and policies,
- Assist the external Auditors regarding all quarterly and annual audit requirements
- Ensure internal control procedures are performed diligently(e)Prepare for SOX implementation in the near future.
- Play an active role in the leadership team of the Corporate Controller organization, alongside other peer leaders (Record-to-Report, Tax, Treasury, regional financial controllers, Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash)
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Demonstrated experience in Technical accounting in a leading audit firm and /or in a listed Corporation, ideally in US markets (NASDAQ or NYSE)
- Both IFRS and US GAAP expertise are a must(e)
Highly developed analytical and technical accounting skills.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Audit and Accounting
- Proven Consolidation and Financial reporting experience in a listed company
- Excellent communication skills (written in particular), proven leadership and change management skills
- Ability, willingness and taste to work in a fast-paced global environment, to orchestrate work and meet deliverables under strict deadlines
- You must be able to speak English & French fluently, as you will evolve in a truly international environment
What makes you stand out:
- Experience working in the Tech / SAAS sector is beneficial (IFRS 15 / ASC 606) but not essential.
- IPO experience would be highly appreciated
- Experience in an acquisitive environment (PPA, mergers, etc) is recommended
- Knowledge of Amelkis EPM (formerly Opera) or SAP BFC is a plus
