This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible, large scale SaaS cloud company(e)This role is an immediate full-time position.
We are looking for a friendly and energetic individual to provide a positive workplace experience to our employees and visitors at our location in York(e)Are you ready to create a fun and inspiring workspace? Our company culture is reflected in our workspace and our workplace managers help ensure a top-notch experience(e)As the Workplace Manager for our York office, you will lead a variety of activities and events aimed at running a safe, efficient and productive office.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee facility operations for our York location
- Help to drive a sense of community by creatively planning fun events and coordinate employee celebrations
- Act as point of contact for site security and new employee badging
- Onboarding of new employees to Anaplan for the local office
- Responsible for managing Facilities Management Operational budget and invoice approvals
- Responsible for managing multiple vendors and liaise with Building General Contractors
- Responsible for maintaining the cleaning standard by working closely and efficiently with Building Cleaning team
- Coordinate copier, mail delivery, shipping and receiving
- Establish vendors to supply local services, manage contracts
- Promote the Anaplan culture by working with the culture team and hosting group events
- Execute ticket requests related to Workplace Services/Facilities Management
- Wellness, health, ergonomics and safety awareness
- Liaise with building management and handle facilities issues
- Work on miscellaneous projects to support the broader real estate and workplace function
- Establish positive working relationships with all the on-site staff
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years experience in facility management, office services or office management is required
- Knowledge of COVID prevention protocols and enhanced cleaning requirements
- Customer service experience
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain positive relationships within the office
- Skilled in MS Office, file-sharing systems (we use Box) and other Web-based systems
- Technical aptitude to solve basic desktop problems
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and work both independently and with groups
- Can-do attitude and strive to do more for a growing team
- A team player with a sense of humor and friendly demeanor
