Marketplace Team @Heetch
At Heetch we are looking for a Python Engineer to join the Marketplace team(e)The Marketplace team sits within the Data organisation at Heetch, with the goal of optimising the Heetch platform for both drivers and passengers(e)You will work closely with the team’s Data Scientists to design new features and integrate them into the team’s microservice architecture.
What will you do?
• Work alongside a cross-functional team of developers and data scientists to understand and implement product features as production-level code ;
• Write production code for python microservices and data pipelines ;
• Maintain existing algorithms and help develop new ones to increase marketplace efficiency ;
• Take ownership of microservice architecture of the Marketplace Team ;
• Offer leadership for engineering best practices within the team and wider organisation.
Does it sound like you?
• You have 2 years of experience working with Python ;
• You have experience of using version control (Git + GitLab/GitHub) ;
• You have some experience working within a Data team or with exposure to data algorithms and topics ;
• You can communicate effectively with colleagues from various backgrounds and technical levels ;
• You proactively detect issues and identify their root cause ;
• You work with rigour and curiosity ;
• You are driven by the desire to implement engineering best practices (CI/CD, TDD) ;
• You are fluent in English (it’s the language we use within the company, because hey we’re an international team 🙂).
