In this context of hypergrowth, LEDGER wishes to reinforce its Legal Department led by its General Counsel in order to ensure high quality services and address the Business and Corporate in the context of a fast-growing

Missions


  • As Head of IP,  you will be a member of a team composed by dynamic and talented lawyers, from different background (law firm & inhouse) and various industries (fashion, consumer electronics, finance, fintech, digital content,…) and will be exposed to thrilling topics in a fast moving and evolving blockchain and crypto industry, where the story still needs to be written(e)You will be in charge of all the subjects concerning the Intellectual Property of the company while jump in on other topics and help other team members on other areas as the need may arise from time to time.
     
  • Missions: 
  • Build the IP strategy at a global level (Trademarks, patents, know how…).
  • Managing Ledger’s IP portfolio. 
  • Drive the global patent strategy.
  • Act as a key advisor to the business and partner with the different teams to identify opportunities to protect intellectual property and to provide patentability assessments.
  • Animate the internal patent committee.
  • Manage internal and external patent writers.
  • Support the legal team in contract drafting and negotiations, in particular with regard to trademark and product design protection.
  • Support due diligence efforts on M&A targets.
  • Managing all IP litigation.

Qualifications

  • Min 10 years of proven track record in Intellectual Property.
  • A strong patent experience is a must. 
  • Fluent in English - French would be a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to independently lead and execute all facets of challenging engagements with highest integrity and ethics. 
  • Collaborative team player with an ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to offer both practical and theoretical advice demonstrating knowledge of the product and good business instincts
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask; flexibility and adaptability in the workplace
  • Creative, autonomous, and strong entrepreneurship mindset
  • At ease in a fast pace, very innovative environment
  • A good sense of humor and ability to not take oneself too seriously.
